IMPORTANT --------- WINDOWS 9x MODEM DRIVER AND NON-WINDOWS 9x SOFTWARE. ---------------------------------------------------- You may still get softwares that have not been converted to Windows 9x mode. These softwares still require the user to select his communication device from a dedicated list and can not use Windows 9x device drivers. You must then install these softwares and drivers as under Windows 3.xx. SUB-ADDRESSING -------------- Not all contries provide sub-addressing. Ask your telephone operator to install this function. Sub-addressing is an easy way of selecting a communication mode on CXR ISDN devices. The sub-address is attached to the telephone number by a star, e.g. ATD123456*8 In this case the sub-address 8 would select the V14 mode if the CXR TA is in factory default setting. Please refer to chapter 2.4 and 2.5 in the user's manual.
