Please follow below steps:

1. Uninstall all previously installed driver and utility prior to installing this one. 
2. Power off computer and plug in wn4054pci card first.
3. After Windows is restarted, and the new hardware is found, perform all manual installation by pointing the driver location to "Driver" folder just created.
4. After the installation is complete, you should now be able use "Windows Zero Configuration" to make wireless connection (Windows XP SP2 version). You may stop here if you like.
5. Otherwise, if you prefer NOT to use "Windows Zero Configuration", please disable it now and then go to "Utility" folder to install the new wn4054pci's Wireless Utility instead. A system restart is required.
6. After system is restarted, you should be able to use wn4054pci's Wireless Utility to make wireless connection

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
