** This setup is for Windows 2000/XP 32-bit systems only. **


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 


1. Connect the modem into an available USB port on your computer.

2. If the Found New Hardware Wizard appears, click cancel.

3. Open the Zoom_3095F_2000XP32 folder and double-click on the Setup application icon to begin the driver installation.

4. After the installation wizard initializes, click OK to begin installing the device drivers. This installation process may take several minutes.

5. When the installation is complete, click OK and then restart your computer. Please disregard the message that says the NetWaiting Modem on Hold application will be installed. NetWaiting is not included with this driver package but is available as a separate download from the Model 3095F support page on the Zoom website.

6. To confirm the installation:
 a.) From the Start menu, select Control Panel and then Printers and Other Hardware (or Phone and Modem Options, if you are in classic view).
 b.) Select Phone and Modem Options.
 c.) If prompted, enter your location information and click OK.
 d.) Click the Modems tab.  
 e.) Highlight the USB modem and click Properties, then Diagnostics.
 f.) Click the Query Modem button. 
 g.) You should see a list of Commands and Responses. Scroll down to ATI3 and check that the response includes "CX93001."  

Congratulations! You have successfully installed your Zoom USB Mini External modem.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
