This IBM M2 SCSI Tape Driver (ExbtM2.SYS) supports:
 
-  EXB-8900 series
-  Mammoth2

This driver fully supports the Windows 2000 tape API.

	                	     INSTALLATION

1.) Boot the machine to Windows 2000. 
2.) Run "System" icon in the "Control Panel" folder under the "Settings" start menu.
3.) Select the "Hardware" tab, then the "Device Manager" button.
4.) Find and double-click the drive under the "Other Devices" or "Tape drives" catagory.
5.) Select the "drivers" tab in the "Properties" window.
6.) Select "Update Driver".
7.) Enter the wizard and select "Display a list of known drivers".
8.) Select "Have Disk".
9.) Enter the path to the OEMSETUP.INF file.
10.) Reboot the system to activate the driver if asked by the application.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
