For Windows 98 environments, it is necessary to ensure that DCOM for Windows 98 Version 1.3 or later is installed on your PC prior to running the Mitsumi Bluetooth Suite install. If Mitsumi Bluetooth Suite was already installed, the following Uninstallation procedure should be followed prior to installing the new version or the same version. 2.Uninstallation 2-1). Windows98SE/WindowsME 1.Verify Mitsumi Bluetooth Adaptor is plugged in. From Control Panel, select System and then the Device Manager tab. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers. Select Mitsumi Bluetooth Adaptor and click Remove. When prompted if you are sure you want to remove this device, click OK. 2.From Control Panel, select Add/Remove Programs. Select Mitsumi Bluetooth Suite 1.0.8.EN01 and click Remove. 3.Run cleanup98.bat from the setup CD to delete SYS, INF, and PNF files. But this problem does not effect to generic usage. 4-2).In the case of using file transfer function of HyperTerminal using Bluetooth Serial Client COM port, the file transfer often stops. We recommend not to use HyperTerminal, instead you can use "TeraTermPro" which is free software as substitute application. 4-3).If infrared is on the PC, IR must be running during the installation or else COM4 will appear as an available port and most likely the FAX Modem driver will be installed at COM4, but will not work. 4-4).Peer-to-Peer LAN Connections between a Windows 2000 machine (as LAN Client) to a Windows 98 machine (as LAN host). After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
