Modem Firmware Files
---------------------------------
This file contains firmware for each hardware revision
of your particular model of modem. Be sure to use *only* the
HEX file that matches your modem's current hardware revision.
Check your modem's firmware revision by typing ATI1I2 to the modem.
You can do this within Flashpro (version 2.04). Set up the serial
port in Flashpro and then choose "Communicate with port" from the
main menu.
You can then type 'AT' commands directly to your modem.
Type: AT&F <enter>
Type: ATI1I2 <enter>
You will see your modem's firmware revision and model number.
Type: AT&W1Z <enter>
This will clear out any stored parameters.
** IMPORTANT:
Use only the HEX file that matches your modem's hardware
revision.
e.g. Only flash modems that have 01xx firmware with the 1xx
HEX file.
