Installation Procedure ====================== Please refer to the User's Guide for instructions on how to install the VideOh! CD AVC-1100 into your computer. Video Editing Tips ================== Use the AV Capture utility to capture your videos onto your computer. Use MyDVD to create VCDs, and use ShowBiz to edit your videos and add other effects. The capture function is not supported on MyDVD or ShowBiz. ----- Capturing and writing VCD’s with the VideOh! CD AVC-1100 is a 2-step process: - Use the "AV Capture" utility to capture video from the AVC-1100 to your hard drive. Please check the User's Guide for general information on using the AV Capture utility. - Use MyDVD to set up and encode those captured files to a VCD. Known Issues ============ - When using AV Capture to capture video, the audio will be muted during capture. Both the audio and video is captured to the disk and when the capture completes the file will play back with both audio and video. Please check the User's Guide for general information on using the AV Capture utility. - The VideOh! AVC-1100 is a USB 1.1 device and requires all the bandwidth of the USB controller to capture video. If other USB devices are connected to the USB controller you may receive an error or the video quality may be reduced. To prevent this remove all other USB devices from the USB controller before capturing video. - If using the VideOh! AVC-1100 connected to a USB hub, you may encounter problems, such as the VideOh! AVC-1100 not being recognized. To prevent this remove the VideOh! AVC-1100 from the USB hub and connect directly to the USB controller. Check the USB hub manufactures web site for updated drivers which may resolve this issue. - AV Capture does not support hotplug. Do not plug or unplug your VideOh! AVC-1100 device from the USB port when AV Capture is running or the software may lock up. - If you trim the beginning of a captured video clip in MyDVD, the resulting VCD may have audio and video out of sync. To correct this problem, undo the trimming of the clip and re-burn the CD.Download Driver Pack
