iDACADM supports the following controllers:

AcceleRAID 400
AcceleRAID 500
AcceleRAID 600

iDACADM can be loaded in one of two ways.  While running a DOS operating system,
iDACADM may be executed using the DOS executable.  It may also be loaded during
system POST time by pressing <Alt-R> to load iDACADM from ROM when the iDACBIOS
banner is displayed.

Known Issues
------------

* When saving a configuration file, the SCSI Bus negotiation speeds are
  currently saved as MB/sec, however, this should actually be MHz.

* Upon returning to the main menu after a flashing a iDACUTIL image, the main
  window which lists the version information will not be updated with the new
  version until the program is exited and reentered.

* It is necessary to reboot the system after flashing a controller before
  attempting to backup or restore a configuration.

* When flashing the Manufacturing Diagnostic image, no information is provided
  in the flash update window after it has been read from disk and prior to
  programming the controller.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
