Full support is provided for the following operating systems: * Microsoft Windows XP (32-bit) * Microsoft Windows 2000 * Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 * Linux (Kernel 2.4.11 and above) * Sun Solaris 8 (x86) * Caldera OpenUnix 8 * Caldera UnixWare 7.1.x * Novell NetWare 5.1/6.0 -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Known Issues / Fixed Issues -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Known Issues ------------ * Mixed PCI and External controller environments are not supported in this release. * In UnixWare/OpenUnix the sign-on password is not validated when logging on from GAM client. * When starting a manual rebuild on a drive, the GAM client erroneously displays a pop-up message indicating that "Rebuild has completed on Channel:x/Target:x". However the rebuild status window is visible and completes successsfully. * After a rebuild successfully completes, an erroneous pop-up message indicates that "Rebuild was cancelled on channel:x/Target:x". * In the Gam client the Host Information (under Controller Information) always displays Bus=0 Slot=0 IRQ=0 with Gemstone controllers. * With the GAM server running UnixWare, when starting or completing a rebuild, GAM client displays chn:0 and tgt:0 instead of the logical drive number in the log information. * With the GAM server running UnixWare, when starting a foreground initialization, the log information address field indicates that the initialization started on chn:0/tgt:0 instead of the logical drive number. * With AR400, will get Error code 0x815 trying to save NVRAM log in GAM client. * Rebuild status option is grayed out after user reboot the system. Therefore user cannot view the progress of the rebuild. However, rebuild continues and events show that rebuild is completed. * The Windows event log does not display the same level of detail as the GAM event log when BBU is removed and replaced. * A global hot spare create in iDACEZA is displayed incorrectly in it's own array pack. If global hot spare is created in GAM, it is shown correctly in the unconfigurred/global hot spare area at the bottom of the screen. * Gam client show enclosure is critical when FAN is absent from enclosure. Enclosure reports Fan is absent because it is not connected or removed. This is reported correctly in GAM client but the enclosure should not be marked critical. Gam should report the enclosure status as "green".
