SMC2662W V.2 EZ Connect 11 Mbps Wireless USB Adapter General Description
SMC2662W V.2 highly optimized features comply with IEEE802.11b standard.
It can connect to any 802.11-based wireless LAN very easily. It provdies
the ideal replacement for applications where wired networks are hard to
be implemented.

For small networks (up to 20 users) it is approximately 80% as fast as a 10BaseT wired LAN
For larger networks a wireless LAN operates best as an extension to a wired LAN

a wired network backbone through an Access Point
Gives you freedom to roam with your computer anywhere within range of the Access Point
Supports ranges of 50m to 100m indoors and 100m to 500m outdoors (depending on the number of
walls or obstacles)
Any area can be covered by adding more Access Points wired together in a cellular fashion

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
