PROTOCOL.INI Parameter Definitions
==================================
Below is an explanation of each PROTOCOL.INI parameter for the Compex
ENET32-VL Ethernet Adapter.
The only parameter that must be present is the "DRIVERNAME".
If more than one Compex LAN Card is installed, the location of each must
be specified by using the "IOADDRESS" parameter.
DRIVERNAME
range:[EN32VL$, EN32VL2$, EN32VL3$, EN32VL4$]
Identifies the LAN adapter driver. Use a unique value from the range
indicated for each Compex LAN adapter installed in your computer. If you
had two Compex LAN Cards installed, you would use EN32VL$ for the first one,
and EN32VL2$ for the second.
IOADDRESS
range: [0x220, 0x240, 0x280, 0x2A0, 0x300, 0x320, 0x340, 0x380]
If present, indicates the IO base address in which the
Compex ENET32-VL Ethernet Adapter is installed. If the adapter with
this IO address is not present, the driver will exit with an error.
When it is not specified, the driver will automatically scan for
the correct I/O address and IRQ value.
If more than one adapter are installed in the computer, this parameter
must be set for each adapter installed.
INTERRUPT
range: [3,5,10,15]
The interrupt (IRQ) number of the adapter.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
