************************************************************* * Wireless Broadband Router * * SMC7004AWBR * * Firmware v1.93s1 * * - READ ME - * ************************************************************* After installing this firmware on your Barricade Router, you will need to reset the router to factory defaults in order to complete the firmware installation. After you have completed the firmware install process, please follow the steps below to correctly reset your Barricade router. Barricade Reset Steps: 1. Unplug your routers power cable to turn it off. 2. Locate the [reset] button on the router. 3. With a paperclip, or other pointed object, push and hold down the reset button. 4. Plug your router power cable back in to turn it on and keep the reset button pushed in. 5. As the router is powering up, keep the reset button pushed in for 5 seconds - then release it. 6. Upon release of the [reset] button the Barricade M1 and M2 lights will begin to flash. The M1 and M2 lights will blink 8 times to verify that you have reset the Barricade succesfully. NOTE- If you do not get 8 blinks then please start over to attempt another reset. 5. After you have completed a successful reset process, login* to your Barricade router to re-configure your internet connection. *NOTE: If you have changed the IP address of your router it is now reset to the factory default of 192.168.123.254. The same is true for any password that you may have set, the login pw is now reset to: ADMIN If you are unable to access your Barricade admin page, please verify that your computers is configured with an IP address that is in the default range of 192.168.123.x. If you had a static IP address configure, please set it to dynamic or configure a valid IP address (ex. 192.168.123.50).Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
