Login as root user. (On maintenance mode) 2. Put network driver diskette to floppy A: and use doscp command to copy the file "setup" for installing SCO UNIX Network Driver into UNIX's directory. # cd / # doscp A:/sco_unix/5.x/setup /setup # chmod +x /setup # ./setup 3. Use netconfig utility, available options : # netconfig 4. To add adapters, select "Add New LAN adapter" from "Hardware". The message "The following adapters have been found:" will appear and select "PRO110(B) PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter". 5. Select SCO TCP/IP to add protocol. 6. Enter the required information and use [TAB] key to press "OK" Local Host Name: |scosysv_____________| IP Address: |192.72.53.55________| Netmask: |255.255.255.0_______| Broadcast Address: |192.72.53.255_______| Domain Name: |scosysv.com_________| TCP connections: |256_________________| Pseudo ttys: |32__________________| 7. At "Hardware" menu select "Exit" to quit the netconfig utility. 8. Do you want to relink to kernel now ? y 9. Do you want this kernel to boot by default (y/n) y 10.Do you want the kernel environment rebuilt (y/n) y 11.Reboot unix. # shutdown -y -g0 12. When the system boots, you should see the following message among the other configuration messages: %A40X0 I/O port range IRQ driver version, speed/mode, node addressDownload Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
