** NOTE: LAN Manager >REQUIRES< the subdirectory structure which is on this
         diskette. If users want to copy the LAN Manager driver to another
         disk, the subdirectory and file structure must be the same.

The driver for LAN Manager OS/2 version is in the \MSLANMAN.OS2 subdirectory
of this diskette.

 1. Insert the driver floppy disk into drive A: or B:.

 2. In the Group-Main window, click the OS/2 window or OS/2 Full Screen icon.
    The full screen shell prompt will appear.

 3. Change the directory from the root to the subdirectory, LANMAN.

 4. Run the SETUP command.

 5. Under "Configuration" choose Network Drivers. The user will
    see the Workstation Configuration window.

 6. Click the Add New Config button.

 7. To select the driver for installation, click Other Driver under
    Network Adapter Drivers.

 8. Then assign the drive, A: or B:, without path. The driver will be
    copied to the hard disk. Then, click the OK button.

 9. In the window with the title "PRO110(B) PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter" set
    the network protocol to be NetBeui (or whatever is appropriate) and click
    Ok.

10. Go back to the Workstation Configuration and confirm the protocols
    and driver are correct.

11. Save the setting of the configuration in the Configuration Complete
    window.

12. Check the PROTOCOL.INI file to have a correct line speed and
    opearting mode. (Please refer to "AUTONEGOTIATION with the attached
    device" section of the \README.1ST file for the line speed and operating
    mode.)

13. Reboot.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
