Microsoft Windows 95

1) Connect Compex Paraport2 Adapter to the computer's parallel port
and start Windows 95.
2) Double-click the Network icon in the Control Panel.
3) A "Network" dialog box appears. Click on the ADD button.
4) A "Select Network Component Type" window appears. Double-click the
Adapter option to select.
5) A "Select Network Adapters" windows appears. Click the HAVE DISK
button to install Paraport2 Windows 95 driver from driver disk.
6) Insert PARAPORT2 Pocket Ethernet Adapter Driver Disk into the
drive (eg. A:).
7) In the "Install From Disk" box, enter the following pathname
of the directory:-
A:\WIN95
and then select the OK button.
8) In the "Select Network adapters" box,
"Compex ParaPort2 Pocket Ethernet Adapter"
will be displayed. Select the network adapter.
Click the OK button to continue.
9) The "Network" dialog box appears again. Click the OK button to
continue the installation.
10) Windows 95 will copy the drivers and the necessary files
from Windows 95 Diskettes/CD-ROM.
11) After installation, Windows 95 would ask you to restart the
computer so that the new hardware can take effect. Click the
YES button.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
