This piece of driver support interrupt driven plus Printer Pass Through. With the extra keyword "PRINT" specified in NET.CFG files, will enable the Pass through feature of ParaPort2 hardware. Modifications made to support more Multi-IO card/PC. (B) PLINK2.COM v2.13 (950127) 1. In order to have a clear cut between ParaPort1 and ParaPort2, the driver name of ParaPort2 is to rename to PLINK2.COM. 2. The code of interrupt level detection has been modified to actually check the IRQ number. (C) PLINK2.COM v2.20 (960319) 1. To support Toshiba Satellite T211x Series of notebooks. 2. To support note-book PCs supporting EPP mode with EPP BIOS EXTENSION. 2. NDIS2 Workstation Driver (A) PLINK.DOS v3.11á (950127) :- Beta version of NDIS2 driver to support ParaPort2 hardware. This piece of driver support interrupt driven plus Printer Pass Through. The printer pass-through feature of ParaPort2 hardware to support printing while accessing the network. Modifications also made to support more Multi-IO card/PC. (B) PLINK2.DOS v3.40c (950707) :- Final release of NDIS2 driver to support ParaPort2 hardware. To support POLLING for NDIS driver, and the IRQ level detection criteria. (C) PLINK2.DOS v3.50 (960325) 1. To support Toshiba Satellite T211x Series of notebooks. 2. To support note-book PCs supporting EPP mode with EPP BIOS EXTENSION. 3. NDIS3 Miniport Driver (A) PLINK2.SYS v4.00 (960126) :- First release version of NDIS3 miniport driver to support ParaPort2 network adapter in Windows 95 and Windows NT environment. This version support Standard and Fast parallel port modes only. (B) PLINK2.SYS v4.10 (960322) :- Add support for EPP mode parallel port. (C) PLINK2.SYS v4.11 :- Better mode detection by the driver. 4. Compex ParaPort2 Network Adapter Diagnostic Program (A) RUNME.EXE v1.00 (950121) :- First release of ParaPort2 utility. (B) RUNME.EXE v1.01 (960115) 1. In order to support Toshiba Satellite T211x series of notebooks. 2. In order to provide an automatic basic hardware test at the time of driver installation. 3. In order to support machines with EPP and EPPBIOS EXTENSION. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
