Remark of any batch file that loads the ParaPort driver then reboot and proceed. Insert DISK1 in drive A. Enter, A:>INSTALL <enter> To execute the Network Monitoring of the Install program, enter 'yes' for Network Monitoring. The statistics of the Network Monitoring are as seen in screen 2. These include I/O Base Address, Node Address, the Interrupt Level and the Network Cable connected. The Install program obtains this information through autosensing the hardware. The Self and Functional Test box displays the status of the test items. The Register Access Test verifies the read/write paths and the registers available on board. The Memory Test tests the memory modules to ensure its functionality and workability. The Media Test autosenses the network cable connected to exercise the integrity of the transmission as well as the reception path. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
