=============================================================================
                           IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES
=============================================================================
IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Copy IFlash32.exe and BIOS binary file SHW4.CAP(also referred to as capsule file)
        to a ROM DOS bootable diskette or HD, and boot from it.
2. Run IFLASH32.exe (Version 1.2.2 or greater only) with /u parameter.

	The Command Line interface is
		IFlash32 SHW4.CAP /u

For additional details about the IFLASH32.exe, please refer it's Release notes.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
==============
a) When using IFLASH32.exe or OFU update method, please make sure that both the flash parts on the system are in working condition.IFLASH32.exe updates the secondary flash part, instead of primary from which the system is currently booted, and then switches to secondary after Reset, as per Rolling BIOS feature.This Update mechanism does not work with a single flash part.
b) A full-power cycle is required before a new VT enable/disable setting takes effect.

=============================================================================
                            KNOWN ISSUES/WORKAROUNDS
=============================================================================
- Please make sure that you have a IMM Module in your system. The ACPI EC feature
  enabled in the current BIOS, requires this module.
- This BIOS has enhanced Memory tests which will map out any Bad DIMMs and display
  corresponding errors. After replacing the faulty DIMMs, go to the BIOS
  Setup->Configure System RAS and Performance->Retest All System memory
  to re-enable the disabled Memory SLOTs.
- If booting with KDB connected on COM1 port, make sure that Console Re-direction
  is Disabled on that port, otherwise it may cause a Windows boot hang.
  Please confirm in the BIOS Setup.
- To boot DOS from a USB key fob, it should be formatted as a DOS Floppy or
  Hard Disk emulation. Only first floppy or a hard drive in a system can become
  a boot device and will show up in the Boot Manager.
  For selecting any other drive, please choose it through the Boot Maintanence
  Manager. This is as per the BIOS Boot Specification design.
