README.TXT Driver File Contents (asyncpci_2007_06_29.zip)

This set of programs is used to change the maximum bitrate of a comport
(Fastcom:xxxx-PCI) "on the fly".
It consists of three parts, a kernel mode driver (fcclockset.sys), a dll
that allows entry into the driver (fcputil.dll), and a command line program
that uses the dll and driver to change the clock setting of the fastcom card.

The fcpinstall program is used to install, remove, start and stop the necessary
driver it is used as:

Usage:
fcpinstall -i   -> install
fcpinstall -r   -> remove
fcpinstall -s   -> start
fcpinstall -t   -> stop

Once this driver is installed and running, the fcset program can be used
to change the bitrate of a port by using:

usage:
fcset comport maxbaud

or you can use the set_max_baud() function that the fcputil.dll exports in your
code.
