*** Usage ***

	This program is for CMI8338 and CMI8738 PCI audio chips.

	Usage: Play8738 filename

	filename:  The full path of playback file.
	           It must be .wav, .mp3 or .m3u file type.
	Example:
	    Play8738 C:\\Window\\Ding.wav
	    Play8738 C:\\MP3\\MyMP3.mp3
	    Play8738 PlayList.m3u


	M3U file is a text file which includes a list of all .wav/.mp3 files.
	For example:
	    CMedia\\Sound\\MP3\\EYES_ON.MP3
	    CMedia\\Sound\\MP3\\HERO.MP3

	F1: Play
	F2: Pause
	F3: Stop
	F4: Forward
	F5: Backward
	F6: Enable/Disable S/PDIF-OUT
	F7: Enable/Disable Rear Speaker
	F8: MP3 Equalizer (Flat/Rock/Jazz/Classic)

	UP  : Previous song
	DOWN: Next song
	
	LEFT/RIGHT: Select menu functions
	ENTER: Execute selected menu function

	ESC: Exit to DOS

	DOS 6.22 or above (Windows 95/98/ME should be shutdown to DOS.)
	1 MB RAM
	80586 or above
	CMI8338/CMI8738 Audio Chip

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
