Demo Program

Description:
    1. System
       .show node-id, port, irq, membase, ROM base (if available)
       .select a desired card from serveral 840A cards
    2. (Cxx) Control/Status register test
       .registers read/write test
    3. Loopback Test
       .data structure test
    4. Practical Tx/Rx Test
       .receive test
       .transmit test
       .transmit and receive test
    5. Remote Wake-Up Test
       .transmit wake-up packets
       .be the wakon card
    6. Set boot ROM size

Installation:
    1. (1) 840a-dm.exe, (2) 840a-dm.ini, (3) cylu0.pkt, (4) fa50.pkt,
       (5) digit.pkt,   (6) dwio.scr
       6 files should exist in the same directory.
    2. If the vendor wants to write Ethernet address to the EEPROM,
       ETHADDR.DAT should also in the same directory.

Use:
    840a-dm                          Run diagnosis program
    840a-dm /g[=file_specify]        Generate NET.CFG as file_specify
    840a-dm /n                       Run diagnosis program
    840a-dm /eeprom                  Write Ethernet Address (ETHADDR.DAT) and
                                     other data (see [EEPROM] in 840a-dm.ini)
                                     to the EEPROM.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
