Joining the Tera Pro to a AD domain.

1.)  Be sure the TeraStation system clock is within 5 REAL minutes 
of the Domain Controllers system clock. This means that if your DC is at
5:35 AM CST, then your TS PRO's clock must be within 5:30 to 5:40 AM CST
or 4:30 to 4:40 AM MST, etc.

2.)  The TeraStation must use the Domain Controller as the primary DNS server.


*When a member of an AD domain, protected FTP access is disabled.  Anonymous FTP is allowed. 


Run NASUpdater.exe to begin the update process.  Do not power off the TeraStation while the updater is running.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
