U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX
Windows XP Driver Installation
Windows XP provides a complete "Plug and Play" System that
automatically recognizes and configures U.S. Robotics 10/100
PCMCIA NIC TX.
Driver Installation Steps for Windows XP:
1) Insert U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX in one of the PCMCIA
Slots and start Windows XP.
2) The "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box appears.
Select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)"
and click the "Next" button.
3) Insert the U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX driver diskette in
the drive (e.g. X:.).
Notice: X: means the drive (Floppy or CD-ROM) containing the driver.
4) Select "Include this location in the search" and type Path "X:\WINXP",
then click the "Next" button.
5) The installation process copies all the required
files to the hard disk.
6) When Windows prompts with "Completing the found new hardware wizard"
in the "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box, click the "Finsh"
button..
7) Remove the U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX Driver Diskette from your
floppy drive.

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
