U.S. Robotics. U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX Windows NT 4.0 Installation Windows NT 4.0 provides support for PCMCIA adapters. Before installing your U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX adapter, please make sure the PCMCIA device is started and working. You can check the status of the PCMCIA device by double clicking the "Devices" icon in the Control Panel. If the PCMCIA device is not started, you can click the "Start" button to start it. Windows NT 4.0 Driver Installation Steps: 1) Insert U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX in one of the PCMCIA Slots. 2) Start Windows NT 4.0. 3) Double click the "Control Panel/Network" icon. Select "Adapter", and click the "Add" button. Insert the U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX driver diskette in the drive (e.g. X:) ,click the "Have Disk" button. Notice: X: means the drive (Floppy or CD-ROM) containing the driver. 4) Enter "X:\WINNT" and click the OK button. 5) Select the "U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX" from the dialog box and click OK to continue. 6) Select IRQ, I/O address and Connection Type, and click OK. The system will copy the driver files to the hard disk. 7) The installation prompts you for the required TCP/IP setup information. Please enter all the required information. 8) Restart the computer.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
