U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX
                      Windows 95 Driver Installation

Windows 95 provides a complete "Plug and Play" System that
automatically recognizes and configures U.S. Robotics 10/100
   PCMCIA NIC TX.

Before installing the U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX adapter,
Windows 95's PCMCIA service must be installed and enabled. This
service can be started in the Control Panel.

Driver Installation Steps for Windows 95:

       1) Insert U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX in one of the PCMCIA
          Slots and start Windows 95.

       2) The "Update Device Driver Wizard" dialog box appears. Click the
          "Next" button.

       3) Select "Other Locations".

       4) Insert the U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX driver diskette in the
drive (e.g. X:.). Type "X:\WIN95" and click OK.

Notice: X: means the drive (Floppy or CD-ROM) containing the driver.

       5) The installation process copies all the required
files to the hard disk. If the process prompts the location
of the Windows 95 system files, place the Windows 95 CD
in the CD-ROM drive and enter the location of the CD-ROM drive
in the dialog box. Please wait for the process to finish.

       6) Click "Finish" to complete the installation process.

       7) Reboot the machine to start the network.

   Note:

When Windows 95 and the Network is up and running, it is not
recommended to remove the U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX adapter
from the PCMCIA slot without telling the system first. Before you remove
the adapter, please follow these steps:

      1) Double click on the My Computer icon, and then double click on
         the Control Panel icon.
      2) Double click on the PCMCIA icon. The "PC Card (PCMCIA) Properties"
         window appears.
      3) Select "U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX" from
the list, and then click the Stop button.
      4) Wait until the message box with the "You may safely remove the
         device" message appears. Click OK.
      5) Remove the U.S. Robotics 10/100 PCMCIA NIC TX adapter from the PCMCIA slot.

If you do not follow these steps and just pull the adapter from
the PCMCIA slot, the system may hang and you have to reboot the
      system.
