This README file explains how to install the driver installation package on a machine running one of the following operation systems: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP x64, Windows Server 2003 x64, Windows Vista, Windows Vista x64 2 Installation *************** Windows operation system will detect the adapter automatically. Cancel all dialogue boxes that operation system attempts to install the driver automatically. NOTE: User has to log in with administrative rights to be able to install driver. To install the driver, proceed as follows: 1. Execute the setup file "Setup.exe". 2. Follow the instructions displayed during the installation procedure. 3 Uninstallation ***************** In order to uninstall the driver the following procedure should be taken. 1. Go to "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Add or Remove Programs". 2. Find "Atheros Communications Inc.(R) L2 Fast Ethernet Driver", select it and click the "Remove" button. 4 Silent Installation ********************** In order to install the driver silently the following command should be executed. Setup.exe /S For further information please contact our support. note: Because of the driver infrastructure changed after version 2.2.6000.0, if you are using this old version and want to update to our latest driver, you have to turn off the main power and wait for 10 seconds after uninstalling the old driver. *** End of Readme File ***Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
