          INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
        for MONITOR'S INFORMATION

CONTENTS

 The Information (INF) file :
     The INF designaties software and defines Monitor resource used by 
     Windows95,98,ME,2000,XP to ensure Monitor compatibility with your computer's
     Video Graphic Adaptor (VGA).     
  
 The Image Color Matching (ICM) file :
     The ICM file is used in conjunction with graphic programs that provide color 
     matching consistency from monitor screen to printer.
     The ICM file is actived from within the graphics programs that have this feature.

INSTALLATION
---------------
 
(1) First, determine which version of Microsoft Operating System is 
     installed on your computer:
  
(2) Windows 95 & 95A (OSR1)  
   
   1. Click Start -> Setting -> Control Panel 
   2. Double -click the Display icon. 
   3. Click the Setting tab, then click Change Display Type.
   4. Under Monitor Type, Click Change-> Have Disk.
   5. Select  INF/ICM file in CDROM 
   6. Under Model list, select your Monitor, then click OK. 
   7. The monitor files are copied to the hard drive. 
   8. Click OK -> Close to save the settings.  
   9. Click Yes when prompted to accept the new refresh settings.

 
(3) Windows 95B (OSR2)  

   1. Click Start -> Setting -> Control Panel 
   2. Double -click the Display icon. 
   3. Click the Setting tab, then click Advanced Properties.
   4. Select  Monitor tab, Click Change-> Have Disk.
   5. Select  INF/ICM file in CDROM
   6. Under Model list, select your Monitor, then click OK. 
   7. The monitor files are copied to the hard drive. 
   8. Click OK -> Close to save the settings.  
   9. Click Yes when prompted to accept the new refresh settings.

(4) Windows 98 & Windows 98 SE 

   1. Click Start -> Setting -> Control Panel 
   2. Double -click the Display icon. 
   3. Click the Setting tab, then click Advanced... 
   4. Select  Monitor tab, Click Change->
      Display a list of all the drivers in specific location...-> Have Disk.
   5. Insert the CD in the CDROM drive, and enter CDROM. 
   6. Select  INF/ICM file in disk 
   7. Under Model list, select your Monitor, then click OK. 
   8. The monitor files are copied to the hard drive. 
   9. Click OK -> Close to save the settings.  
   10. Click Yes when prompted to accept the new refresh settings.

(5) Windows Me

   1. Click Start -> Setting -> Control Panel 
   2. Double -click the Display icon. 
   3. Click the Setting tab, then click Advanced... 
   4. Select  Monitor tab, Click Change->
      Display a list of all the drivers in specific location...-> Have Disk.
   5. Insert the CD in the CDROM drive, and enter CDROM.  
   6. Select  INF/ICM file in disk 
   7. Under Model list, select your Monitor, then click OK. 
   8. The monitor files are copied to the hard drive. 
   9. Click OK -> Close to save the settings.  
   10. Click Yes when prompted to accept the new refresh settings.

(6) Windows 2000

   1. Click Start -> Setting -> Control Panel 
   2. Double -click the Display icon. 
   3. Click the Setting tab, then click Advanced... 
   4. Select  Monitor tab, Click properties->
      click Driver Tab -> Click Update Driver Tab
   5. Upgrade Device Driver Wizard -> Click Next ->
      Display a list of all the drivers in specific location...-> Have Disk.
   6. Insert the CD in the CDROM drive, and enter CDROM. 
   7. Select  INF/ICM file in disk 
   8. Under Model list, select your Monitor, then click OK. 
   9. The monitor files are copied to the hard drive. 
   10. Click OK -> Close to save the settings.  
   11. Click Yes when prompted to accept the new refresh settings.

(7) Windows XP

   1. Click Start -> Setting -> Control Panel 
   2. Double -click the Display icon. 
   3. Click the Setting tab, then click Advanced... 
   4. Select  Monitor tab, Click properties->
      click Driver Tab -> Click Update Driver Tab
   5. Hardware Update Wizard -> Select Install From A List or Specific Location[Advanced]
      -> Click Next
   6. Select Include this Location in the search -> Click Browse 
      -> Select the Driver in the CD ROM -> Click Next
   7. The Monitor Files are copied to the Hard Drive
   8. Click Finish -> Close

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
