Congratulations, you have successfully programmed your
Receive Mode to Manual Mode.

If you need to change your Receive Mode to one of the 
other choices, you can go through the Desktop Manager
to change the default mode by following these simple 
steps:

     1. Start the MultiPASS Desktop Manager.
     2. Select Setup from the menu bar.
     3. Choose Fax Setup.
     4. Choose Receive Fax tab.
     5. In the Answer section, select the Receive 
        Mode from the drop down list.
     6. Click OK.

In Manual Receive Mode the MultiPASS printer rings 
for all incoming calls. If the incoming call is from
another fax, you must press 'START' on your MultiPASS
printer to receive the document.

When the MultiPASS printer rings, you must pick up the
telephone attached to the MultiPASS printer. If you
pick up another phone attached to the same line but NOT 
attachedto the unit, the MultiPASS printer will 
continue to ring.

HINT: If you have only one telephone line, the most
efficient way to use your MultiPASS printer is to 
attach a cordless phone. When the telephone rings, 
you can pick up the cordless phone anywhere; you don't
need to be near the MultiPASS printer If the call is 
from a fax, you simplyenter a code on the phone to 
start the transmission to the MultiPASS printer.
