==================================================== = PRO110(B) PCI-BUS FAST ETHERNET ADAPTER = = Driver Installation Procedure = = >>> Windows for Workgroups 3.11 = ==================================================== The Windows for Workgroups 3.11 driver files are in the \WFW311 subdirectory of this diskette. 1. Start WfW311. From the Program Manager click on the "Network" icon. 2. In the Network window double-click on "Network Setup". 3. In the Network Setup window double-click on "Drivers". 4. Under Network Drivers, choose the "Add Adapter..." item. 5. Insert this PRO110(B) driver diskette into a floppy disk drive (this example uses Drive A:). 6. When the new menu shows up, choose the "Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter" item for the new driver. Then, click the OK button. 7. There is a box to enter the drive and directory. Please key in "A:\WFW311" or "B:\WFW311" plus <enter>. The "Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter" will show the names of adapters. Select the "PRO110(B) PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter". Then, click the OK button. 8. Users can choose the "Setup..." button to change the "Connection Type" to force the line speed and mode if you know them. "AutoSense" is the default value. It can autonegotiate with the adapter's link partner's speed and mode to have the maximum throughput. "100Mbps" forces to 100M half duplex, "100Mbps FD" to 100M full duplex and "10Mbps" to 10M half duplex and "10Mbps FD" forces to 10M full duplex. 9. Go back to the Network Drivers window and confirm the driver is correctly installed. To close the window, click the OK button. 10. Exit the Network Setup, after making sure the correct driver and protocols have been selected. 11. Next, there are two boxes showing up on screen in order. The WFW311 will automatically modify the CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT, PROTOCOL.INI, and SYSTEM.INI files 12. Reboot. ###Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
