(1) This update patch is for the operating systems Windows 98SE, Me, 2000, and XP.
E In Windows 2000 and XP, use Administrator privileges to perform this update.

(2) This patch is only for updating the version from 1.0.3 to 1.0.4.
This patch cannot be used for other versions. Customers who are using old versions 
should first update FilmGetFS to version 1.0.3.

(3) To install this patch, first disconnect the FS4000US from the computer, reboot the 
computer, and then run the update patch.
If other scanner devices are connected, be sure to also disconnect these devices from 
the computer in the same way before installing the patch. The update may not be 
performed properly if the computer recognizes the FS4000US or other scanner devices.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
