Even when you are continuing to use the same version of NetSpot Resource Downloader after upgrading the operating system, these procedures are necessary. (2) When you use NetSpot Resource Downloader with a device, you need to configure settings on the TCP/IP network. (3) For a device with Flash Memory, formatted Flash Memory is required. (4) Downloading certain kinds of macros and fonts is not allowed, and may cause a device error. (5) For devices in which "Enable LPD" can be set, turn on "Publish Print Queue". (6) For devices in which printer operation information can be set, select "Auto" in the Control Panel. (7) For Canon LBP-2000, Canon imageRUNNER 2000, and Canon imageRUNNER 1600, the device may not print a font list correctly when executing [Start Download] after selecting the device and clicking [Set Forced Download] under [Settings]. To fix this problem, turn the device OFF and then turn it ON again. If you still cannot fix this problem, clear the hard disk of the device and execute [Start Download] as above again. (8) For Canon imageCLASS 4000, Canon LBP-2000, Canon imageRUNNER 2010F, Canon imageRUNNER 2000, and Canon imageRUNNER 1600, to which both flash memory and a hard disk can be mounted, you can select the resource download destination even when there is nothing to download to the device. Right-click the device name in the device pane, click [Storage Location for the Resource File], and then select [Hard Disk] or [Flash Memory]. (The default setting is [Hard Disk].) (9) Please note that the Canon printer driver which supports imageRUNNER 600-550-60, imageRUNNER 330-400 PS/PCL, imageRUNNER 330-400 PCL, imageRUNNER 210 PS/PCL, imageRUNNER 210 PCL, GP200-225 PS/PCL, and GP200-225 PCL is not compatible with NetSpot Resource Downloader. (11) The NetSpot Resource Downloader Printer Driver Add-on Module must be installed on the client PC in order to use downloaded macros. Installing the NetSpot Resource Downloader Add-on Module enables the printer driver on the client PC to obtain information from the Resource Information File to make printouts using the Overlay function. (12) When creating an "Overlay Form File", make sure the file name is different from other file names, otherwise the printer driver cannot obtain the required information from the Resource Information File via the NetSpot Resource Downloader Add-on Module. (13) Specify both a Title and Subtitle for macros (*.p5e, *.p5c) created with a Canon printer driver. Downloading of macros that do not have both a Title and Subtitle specified is not permitted. Enter missing Titles and Subtitles in the [Macro Details] window of Resource Downloader. (14) To properly display installed resource files from the printer driver, versions higher than the following should be installed on your computer. - Canon UFR II Printer Driver for Microsoft Windows, Version 1.50 - Canon PS Printer Driver for Microsoft Windows, Version 2.70Download Driver Pack
