			ScanButton Readme File

----Introduction----
	As a new-concept scanning tool, ScanButton  provides an  automatic process for users to access most frequently used and fever application.  i.e. You don't have to go through the process calling image-editing software such as PhotoShop before scanning.

	ScanButton can also send text file produced by OCR engine to  word-processing applications automatically.

	Furthermore, ScanButton provides easy configure options.
	
	For detailed instruction, please refer to the help document. 

----System Requirements----
	Operation System:
		Windows 95, Windows 98, Win NT 3.51 or later.
		ScanButton does not support Windows 3.1.
	Hardware:
		CPU: Pentium 133 or above;
		RAM: 16MB System RAM min.;
		HD: 100MB free disk space min.;
	Others:
		Super VGA, 16 or 24 bit true color videocard; 
		One scanner and its driver;
		One Windows compatible mouse and keyboard. 

----Help----
	Select "Help" item in right-click menu to get help when the ScanButton is operating.

----Installation----
	ScanButton will install the following files into the default or user-specified directory:
		Readme.txt			this file
		ScanButton.exe			the executable file
		Uninst.isu			the uninstalling file
		ScanButton.msg			message file
		ImgRWSB.dll			image format read and write file
		MullngSB.dll			multiLanguage support file
		TwainDSB.dll			twain driver file
		Help\*.htm or ScanButton.chm	the html files for help

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
