Introduction:

This document shows you how to setup the driver and how to use the
enhanced functions by setting the custom keywords.
Location of Driver: \WINME\LNICND.SYS
Contents of the Subdirectory:
-----------------------------
LNICND.SYS The NDIS5.1 driver for Windows ME.
NETLNIC.INF The installation information file.
Installation:
-------------
Before starting with the installation process, make sure that the
adapter is properly installed and configured.
1.If Windows Me has built the driver for LNIC-10/100A Series, when you plug
the LNIC-10/100A Series in the mother board and power on the Windows ME, the
Window ME will install the driver of LNIC-10/100A Series automatically.
You will see there is an item:
"Realtek RTL8139(A)-based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter"
in the "Network adapters" list in the Device Manager.
The Device Manager can be invoked by choosing Start\Control Panel\
System\Hardware (Tag)\Device Manager (button)
We recommend you to install the updated driver from the distributing
disk by performing step 3 ~ 12.
2.If Windows Me has not built the driver for LNIC-10/100A Series, obey
step 5 ~ 12 to install the driver.
3.Invoke the Device Manager. Right click the item
"Realtek RTL8139(A)-based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter"
in the "Network adapters" list, and choose Properties.
There will prompt the LG LNIC-10/100A Series Fast E-NET Card
Properties window.
4.Click the Driver tag, and choose the "Update Driver" button.
There wll prompt a Upgrade Device Driver Wizard window.
Click "Next".
5.The Wizard will ask you what do you want the wizard to do?
Please choose
"Specify the location of the driver(Advance)"
Click "Next", it will prompt a "Add New Hardware Wizard" window.
6.Please choose the "Specify a location" , and specify the location
of the driner"A:\WINME", Click "Next".
7.The Wizard will ask you what would you want to do?
Please choose
"The updated driver(Recommended)
LG LNIC-10/100A Series Fast E-NET Card"
Click "Next".
8.There will show
"LG LNIC-10/100A Series Fast E-NET Card"
in "Update Device Driver Wizard" window. Click "Next".
9.Windows Me will copy the driver and system files for the network.
10.Finish the "Update Driver", and the updated driver will work for
LNIC-10/100A Series.
11.You will see
"LG LNIC-10/100A Series Fast E-NET Card"
in the 'Network adapters' list.
12.Click "Finish" , and restart the computer.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
