******************************************************************************* * TOSHIBA T3300SL * ******************************************************************************* The Toshiba T3300SL was one of the first notebooks on the market to contain a Version 2 PCMCIA socket capable of working with I/O cards. As a result of its early introduction, the electronics on the Toshiba does not fully comply with the PCMCIA specification as it stands today. This get around this problem, we have had to write special drivers for the Toshiba T3300. While they provide full 16-bit operation, the limitations of the Toshiba mean that they cannot be compatible with NE2000 drivers. We provide ODI, NDIS and Packet drivers for the Toshiba T3300. These can be used with all major networks. For details of installation, either refer to your manual, or consult the files on this disc, remembering to substitute the files in this directory. Change any file name reference from: NE2XXX.XXX to T33XXX.XXX To enable the socket on the Toshiba T3300, copy the enabler ECARD to the hard disk of your Toshiba, and add the following line to your CONFIG.SYS: DEVICE = ECARD.EXE or to your AUTOEXEC.BAT ECARD.EXE before the driver is loaded. *** All other Toshiba PCMCIA Portables introduced since 1st Feb 1993 *** *** have fully compatible PCMCIA controllers. DO NOT use the drivers *** *** in this directory for these machines - they run with industry *** *** standard NE2000 drivers. ***Download Driver Pack
