    Microsoft Windows for Workgroups 3.1
    Microsoft Windows for Workgroups 3.11

*******************************************************************************
*  WINDOWS FOR WORKGROUPS 3.1
*******************************************************************************

The Ethernet PC card has been designed to be totally compatible with a
conventional NE2000 Ethernet board. You can either use the NE2000 compatible
driver supplied on your Workgroup disk or Grey Cell's NE2NDIS driver.

INSTALLING WINDOWS FOR WORKGROUPS FOR THE FIRST TIME
====================================================

1. Follow the Windows for Workgroups installation procedure.

2. When the installation program asks for a Network adaptor, select
	the "NE2000 compatible Adapter" and press RETURN.

	Alternatively, insert the Ethernet PC card drivers disk and select
	"Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter". Indicate the sub-directory
	\NDIS on the drivers disk for the vendor file and you will see
	"Grey Cell Ethernet PC Card GCS2000" listed in the "Network
	Adapters" list.

3. Select the interrupt number (IRQ) and base I/O port address. The
	default is
		IRQ = 3
		IOBASE = 0x300
	Choose any available option but make sure the PC Card has the same
	configuration by using ECARD.

4.      Continue with the installation.

5. When installation is complete, you may need to amend your CONFIG.SYS
	to enable the PC card. Copy the file ECARD.EXE into the Windows
	directory and add the line:

		device=c:\windows\ecard.exe

	before the line "device=c:\windows\ne2000.dos".

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY INSTALLED WINDOWS FOR WORKGROUPS
====================================================

1. Select Program Manager and start Control Panel

2.      Goto Step 2 above.

Note: If you are using an extended memory manager and the ECARD enabler,
      you may need to explicitly exclude memory area D800-D8FF, or other
      4 Kbyte memory space defined by the /MEM parameter.
