Windows 95 Ethernet PCMCIA Card Installation Details
----------------------------------------------------

This guide explains how to configure and install the Grey Cell Systems
Ethernet PCMCIA card with Microsoft's Windows 95.

Install Windows 95 PCMCIA support if this has not already been done.

To do this, go to the My Computer option and select the Control Panel. Then
choose the Add New Hardware option and Install Specific Hardware. Finally
chose PCMCIA Socket and follow the installation instructions.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you have any problems for this initial part of the installation you need
to contact your PC supplier or Microsoft.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Restart your PC and run Windows 95.

2) Insert the Grey Cell Systems PCMCIA card into the PC. This should
generate an event which will pop-up a box entitled New Hardware Found
with the hardware called Grey Cell-GCS2000 (or GCS2220, GCS2210, GCS2230,
    GCS2200 depending on the product).

If the "New Hardware Found" dialog box doesn't appear:
1 Select the Control Panel from My Computer on the Windows 95 desk top.
2 Select the System icon and then choose Device Manager.
3 Select Network Adapters and delete the Grey Cell (Ethernet) entry.
4 Then shut down Windows 95 and switch off the machine.
5 Remove the Ethernet PC card.
6 Then restart Windows 95 and insert the PCMCIA card again when Windows 95
   is active.

5) The box requests you to "Select which driver you want to Install for your
New Hardware". Choose "Select From a List of Alternative Drivers" and
    click OK.

6) On the "Select Device" window, select the Novell/Anthem option from the
    manufacturer's list.

7) From the Models list, select NE2000 compatible and click on OK.

8) Follow the installation through to completion and then re-boot your PC.

If you have any problems please let me know.
