CARD2 PCMCIA Settings This installation program will first make sure that your PC has the following free resources before CARD2 can enable the 3400 Series PC card. 1 x IRQ Interrupt Line 32 bytes x I/O Address Space 1 Kbytes x Memory Address Space The default IRQ line is 3, I/O address is 300h and COM port is COM 2. The memory space is required to let CARD2 access the Card Information Structure (CIS) on the card. However, CARD2 will free the memory back to your PC once it has read it. If you need to specify a different parameter, they are selectable as follows: a) DOS command line : C:\>CARD2 /COMy /IRQ=x /IO=nnn /MEM=mm b) CONFIG.SYS file DEVICE=CARD2.EXE /COMy /IRQ=x /IO=nnn /MEM=mm IRQ = Interrupt Number, valid options for x are 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 12 or 15. IO = I/O Base Address, valid options for nnn are 300, 320, 340 or 360. MEM = Card memory location, mm must be two hexdecimal digits. (eg. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
