5634ZLX.INF info file for Windows NT and Windows 9x,ME,2000
as well as a DOS modem enabler called MDMEN113.EXE.

4. Browse to the temporary folder and Windows will detect the INF
    file for the MT5634ZLX.
5. Click "finish" and the modem is now installed.

Installing the MT5634ZLX in a Windows NT environment:

Installing the MT5634ZLX in a DOS environment:

The DOS modem enabler, MDMEN113.EXE, can be used to enable the modem on
any DOS computer not having Card Services or Socket Services. The
Enabler can be used from the DOS command line, or as a DOS driver by
loading the Enabler during AUTOEXEC.BAT or CONFIG.SYS. Use this
statement:

        MDMEN113 [/COM=n] [/IRQ=dd] [/SLT=m]

Where:
COM=n specifies the COM port value. The factory default is COM=2.
IRQ=dd specifies the interrupt request number in decimal. The factory
       default is IRQ4 for COM1 and COM3, or IRQ3 for COM2 and COM4.
SLT=m specifies the slot number the Fax/Modem card occupies.
       The factory default is auto-detection.

For example:
MDMEN113 /COM=2 /IRQ=5 /SLT=1

Technical Notes for the enabler

1. What follows is the most typical communication software IRQ and
    I/O address settings:

               IRQ Number I/O Address

               COM1: 4 3F8
               COM2: 3 2F8
               COM3: 4 3E8
               COM4: 3 2E8

2. If you are using Windows 3.X, you can change the IRQ and COM
PORT under CONTROL PANEL - PORTS - ADVANCED dialog box. If you
change the COM PORT and IRQ under Windows 3.X, be sure that the
settings match the parameter in the MDMEN113.EXE command line.

3. Two COM ports cannot share the same I/O address even when the
default value is the same. If your system has COM1 and COM2
already, you may run MDMEN113 with /COM=3 and /IRQ=n where "n"
is an available IRQ other than 3 or 4. When you run a modem
application program, the COM port number and interrupt number
specified must match the parameter in the MDMEN113.EXE command
    line.
