This modem must be flashed to support 56K/v.90 , but needs to be working properly first. The modem will ID as 'PM K56 FLEX HC' , and in Windows Me,2K, & XP, will install as 'Lucent Venus Modem'. For Windows 95 & 98, just install the modem as a 'Standard 56K Modem'. Check in Device Manager and make sure the modem is installed properly. You may have to disable COM 1 or 2 in the computer BIOS and in Windows. Perform a Windows Diagnostic on the modem and make sure it responds. In Windows 95,98 & Me, go to Control Panel -> Modems -> Diagnotics tab, select the modem and click More Info. In Windows 2K & XP, go to the Device Manager in the Control Panel, choose the modem and select properties. Click the Diagnostics tab and query the modem. Then run the program FLASH4.EXE in the FLASH folder and choose ZOOM9152.HEX Re-install the driver appropriate for your operating system.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
