Please read the following text carefully before using CW-7503 F/W download tool.
This is to be used for CD-R drive CW-7503 only.
This is available for Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0.

(1)Explanation about Initial setting file(CW7503.INI)
The INI file contents.
<CW-7503>
CD-R=CW-7503 -- ID to confirm the existence of the INI file, not changeable.
ROM=S03B100.ROM -- F/W file name to be downloaded.
VERSION=1.00 -- F/W version number to be downloaded.
Store the INI file, F/W file, and F/W download tool in the same folder.
(2)Error message with its contents
1. ASPI manager is not ready to be used. (WNASPI32.DLL)
WNASP132.DLL does not exist in the System folder of Windows.
Store WNASPI32.DLL in the System folder of Windows.
2. Inquiry information can not be acquired.
CD-R(CW-7503) drive can not be found. The target ID number may be not
appropriate to the drive ID number. Please confirm it.
3. Memory is not enough to execute the command.
Memory is not enough to execute the download program.
Terminate other applications or increase memory.
4. INI file can not be found, or its content is incorrect.
"CW7503.INI" does not exist in the same folder.
Move "CW7503.INI" to the folder which has download tool.
5.Contents of INI file (CW7503.INI) is incorrect. F/W update can not be executed.
The contents of "CW7503.INI" are written with improper format.
In accordance with the above mentioned:@"Explanation about Initial setting file",
make it with proper format.
6. Without version number, F/W update can not be executed.
"CW7503.INI" version number is not set.
Set the version number in accordance with the above
"Explanation of Initial setting file."
7. Communication error occurred. Processing is canceled.
During download, the error is occurred in drive.
Try to download again.
8. F/W file can not be found.
The F/W file set with "CW7503.INI" does not exist in the same folder.
Move the file of F/W to the folder which has download tool.
9. This file format differs from Panasonic CD-R download file format.
The file specified in "CW7503.INI" is incorrect.
The setting file is not F/W for CW-7503.
Set the F/W for CW-7503.
10. Panasonic CD-R CW-7503 is not found.
Reconfirm if it is properly connected or the drive is recognized.

Special attention to download
********************************
(1) Execute download with SCAM disable.
(2) Make sure auto insert notification to be turned off.
(3) Execute download with no disc in drive and tray closed.
(4) After completing download, do not forget to restart up PC.
(5) If several SCSI boards each are connected with more than one CW-7503,
the CW-7503 connected with SCSI board which has the smallest host adapter
number only can be downloaded.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
