GUIDIAG.EXE Description
=======================

GUIDIAG.EXE for MX86101P is a VGA diagnostic program for testing standard
VGA modes as well hardware accelerated graphic modes which are specific
to 86101P GUI accelerator.

If you have problem in running GUIDIAG, there may have confliction
with extended/expended memory manager program such as EMM386 or QEMM.
To resolve this problem, try the following solutions before invoking
GUIDIAG.EXE:

1. Add X=C800-CFFF to EMM386 or QEMM device line.

2. If the above setting still don't work, remove EMM386 or QEMM device
   line from CONFIG.SYS.

If GUIDIAG.EXE is invoked without any arguments, it will run into an
interactive mode select menu, in which you can select any standard
VGA mode or supported extended mode to test. Every mode has its
own set of refresh rates, so you can specify available refresh rate
for the corresponding selected mode as well.

GUIDIAG.EXE can have arguments at command line invocation:

   GUIDIAG [mode number] [refresh rate]

For example:

   type

       GUIDIAG 40 70Hz

will invoke GUIDIAG.EXE directly to set mode to extended mode 40h with
   refresh rate 70Hz and test.
