How to install on the Windows NT 4.0 platform (both Intel and Alpha): (use this for NT Backup Utility and Legato NetWorker). Note: Verify that your tape drive is properly connected before starting the driver installation. Since NT 4.0 would only allow you to sequentially install tape device drivers, if there are other tape devices with uninstalled drivers, please install their drivers before attempting the following procedure or click the CANCEL button to bypass each tape device. 1. Using the My Computer icon or Windows NT Explorer, verify that the driver files were in C:\temp\release directory. 2. Using the Start-Settings path or the My Computer icon, bring up the Control Panel. 3. Double-click the Tape Devices applet (icon). 4. The Tape Devices dialog box is displayed indicating the driver for the new tape drive is not loaded. If the system does not automatically scan for new devices, select "Detect". This scanning process will create a list of device drivers available for installation. 5. In the resulting "Install Driver" dialog box, click "Have Disk" to bring up the "Install From Disk" dialog box. 6. In the "Copy manufacturer's files from" field, enter the driver path as C:\temp\release and then select OK. 7. In the resulting "Install Driver" dialog, select the appropriate driver for your tape drive. Select OK. 8. In the "New SCSI Tape Device Found" dialog box, click OK. 9. In the "Tape Devices" dialog box, click OK. This step completes the driver installation. Restart your system to complete the installation.Download Driver Pack
