               README for AVerMedia AVerTV DVB-S WDM Driver

This readme shows you how to install WDM driver for your TV card.  Please refer to the 
following instructions to install WDM driver. If you have any problem about installing 
WDM driver, please visit our web site at http://www.aver.com.tw to find a solution or 
just e-mail to AVerMedia Technical Support: support@avermedia.com.tw.

(A) If you had not installed any video capture driver for your TV card,
do the following steps to install your new WDM driver.

1. In Control Panel, double click Add/Remove Hardware icon. Then
"Add/Remove Hardware Wizard" will show up.

2. Select "Add/Troubleshoot a device" item, and then click "Next" button.

3. In "Choose a Hardware Device" dialog, select "Multimedia Video Controller"
device. Then click "Next" button.

4. Click "Finish" to Close "Add/Remove Hardware Wizard."

5. Then "Upgrade Device Driver Wizard" will show up and follow wizard to 
install drivers.

6. After installed "AVerMedia, DVB-S WDM Video Capture", and "AVerMedia, DVB-S WDM Crossbar"
driver. Then again go to control panel and open "Add/Remove Hardware Wizard."

7.  Select "Add/Troubleshoot a device" item, and then click "Next" button.

8. In "Choose a Hardware Device" dialog, select "Multimedia Controller"
device. Then click Next button.

9. Click "Finish" to Close "Add/Remove Hardware Wizard."

10. Then "Upgrade Device Driver Wizard" will show up and follow wizard to 
install "AVerMedia, WDM MPEG-2 TS Capture (DVBS)" driver.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
