CTC Powerstation Network Drivers README.TXT - 10/15/98 BDR This directory contains the drivers and configuration utility for the CTC PowerStation network interface. These files only apply to PowerStations that contain the NE2000 compatible network interface. AT5CFG.EXE Configuration utility for the National Semiconductor DP83907 ethernet interface. This allows you to change the interrupt and I/O address of the network interface. NET.BAT An example batch file to run Netbios. NET.CFG Defines interupts and memory for drivers. The default PowerStation configuration reserves the following interrupts and I/O addresses (these can't be used for the network interface): Com1 Int 4 I/O 3F8 Com2 Int 3 I/O 2F8 Com3/Touchscreen Int 11 I/O 3E8 The recommended interrupt and I/O address setting for the PowerStation network interface is: Network card Int 10 I/O 280 To complete the installation for network support you will need to also acquire the following files: LSL.COM Novell driver IPXODI.COM Novell driver NE2000.COM The Standard NE2000 driver for most network cards NETBIOS.COM The program that Interact uses to communicate over a network All these file can be downloaded from Novell's World Wide Web site at: http://ftp.novell.com/pub/updates/dsktop/nwl11/l11d03.exe Interact will also communicate over other Netbios protocols and operating systems such as: Lantastic -Artisoft has a commercial implementation of Netbios TCP-IP -FTP Software has a commercial implementation Microsoft -Windows 95/NT uses Netbios automatically IBM or Other -Any networking systems that support Netbios will work with Interact. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
