Installation of Secure TFTP Server:
=====================================

Windows 2000 
	 1. From the Start menu, select Settings => Control Panel.
	 2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs button.
	 3. Click the Add New Programs button and then the CD Or Floppy button.  
	 4. In the Open box on the Run Installation Program page, type the path
            where the following file is located <cd drive>\TFTP\Win2K\EqmTFTPS.msi. 
	 5. On the EqmTFTPS Setup page, click the Install button.
	 6. At the end of the installation process, click Finish.
	 7. On the Add/Remove Program page, click Close.
	 8. Continue with the Configuration section.

Windows XP
	 1. From the Start menu, select Settings => Control Panel.
	 2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs button.
	 3. Click the Add New Programs button and then the CD Or Floppy button.  
	 4. In the Open box on the Run Installation Program page, type the path
	    where the following file is located <cd drive>\TFTP\WinXP-Vista\EqmTFTPS.msi. 
	 5. On the EqmTFTPS Setup page, click the Install button.
	 6. At the end of the installation process, click Finish.
	 7. On the Add/Remove Program page, click Close.
	 8. Continue with the Configuration section.

Windows Vista
	 1. From the Start menu, select Run. 
	 2. In the Open box on the Run window, type the path
	    where the following file is located <cd drive>\TFTP\WinXP-Vista\EqmTFTPS.msi. 
	 3. On the EqmTFTPS Setup page, click the Install button.
	 4. At the end of the installation process, click Finish.
	 5. Continue with the Configuration section.


Configuring TFTP Server
=======================

1. Access the Secure TFTP Service page.
	 On Windows 2000, XP, or Vista systems, from the Start menu, select Run,
	 type eqmtftpc,then click OK.
	
2. You may either use the default settings for the directory and the get/put access
   rights as indicated,or you may customize the settings to allow clients to access
   other directories.  The path to the directory where the firmware image resides
   must be listed in order to perform the firmware upgrade successfully.

To use the default settings, click the Use Default Settings radio button, then
click Exit.

To customize settings, click the Customize radio button.
	a. To add directories, click the Add button.
		  i. Type the pathname of the directory.
			- or -
		     Click the Browse button, select a directory, then click OK.
		 ii. To enable Get access to that directory, click the GET Access
                     checkbox.
		iii. To enable Put access to that directory, click the PUT Access
                     checkbox.
		 iv. Click OK.  The added directory appears in the list.	
	b. To change an existing entry in the directory list, select the directory
           name in the Path column.
		  i. To delete the entry, click the Remove button, then click Exit.
		 ii. To modify an entry's access rights, click the appropriate
                     checkbox in the Get and Put columns.  To modify an entry's
                     pathname, click the Modify button, then type the pathname of
		     the desired directory or click the Browse button to select a 
		     directory.  Click Exit.
3. Click Close.
4. Restart the service.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
