DOS DIAGNOSTICS

To run diagnostics on HP Network Adapters, please do the following.

For an NC370 Multifunction Gigabit Server adapter:

	Using the diskette(s) created from MAKEDISK A: MFDIAGS

	(1) Boot system to DOS.

	(2) From the \MFDIAG directory, execute XDIAG.EXE

Note: The output of XDIAG is better if the standard MSDOS driver ANSI.SYS is used. After copying the ANSI.SYS file to your diskette, add the following line to your CONFIG.SYS file.

	DEVICE=a:\ANSI.SYS

For all other HP adapters:

Using the diskette(s) created from MAKEDISK A: DIAGS

	(1) Boot system to DOS.

	(2) Execute the appropriate diagnostic utility.

	    -- For an HP NC31xx/61xx/71xx/310x Network Adapter, from the \N100X directory, execute DIAGS.EXE

	    -- For an HP NC10xx/67xx/77xx/150x/320x Gigabit Server Adapter, from the \Q57 directory, execute Q57DIAG.EXE
