CONTENTS
  C1. Remote flash global configuration
C2. Creating the remote BIOS installation folder
C3. Configuration of the File Server
C4. Configuration of the client (target PC)
C5. Configuration of the console PC

C1. REMOTE FLASH GLOBAL CONFIGURATION

In order to remotely flash one or several networked PCs,
the following configuration is needed :

  - 1 management console running either :
             * HP Network Node Manager for Windows NT with
               HP TopTOOLS add-in.
             * HP Openview For Windows for Windows with HP
               TopTOOLS add-in.
             * HP TopTOOLS for Windows 95 with remote agents.

  - 1 file server under Windows, with BIOS files.

  - All the networked client PCs on which BIOS is to be
flashed, with Windows 95 or NT, HP TopTOOLS 2 and TCP/IP
running on them. These PCs are referred as client PCs
    in this instruction note.

C2. CREATING THE REMOTE BIOS INSTALLATION FOLDER

  a. Copy the contents of this directory onto a dedicated
shared directory on the PC used a file server.

  b. A directory must be created for each model of PC
and each version of BIOS and, if relevant, to each
operating system (Windows 95 or NT)

An example of file structure is :

     BiosFile
     |
     |
     +- VL_Serie5 -+-NT--+
     | |
     | +-W95-+-HA0704US
     | |
     | +-HA0705US
     |
     +-XM_Serie4 --+-NT--+
     | |
     | +-W95-+-GW0710US
     | |
     | +-GW0711US
     |
     +-XA_5xxx --+-+-NT--+
     | |
     | +-W95-+-HA0704US <-- example of dedicated
     | | directory
     | +-HA0705US
     |

B3. CONFIGURATION OF THE FILE SERVER

   a. On the PC used as a file server, first enable drive
and directory sharing for the directory that contains
      the BIOS files.

The file server can run :
      - Windows For Workgroup 3.11
      - Windows NT 3.51
      - Windows NT 4.0
      - Windows 95
