			FTP Server

If you have access to the Internet, you can download technical information, 
device drivers, and Racal InterLan  MIB files from Racal InterLan's 
FTP server to your local PC or host computer.  

To access the Racal InterLan FTP server, follow these steps:

1. At the system prompt, type the following command and press Enter.
   
	ftp 130.204.8.16
		    or
	ftp ftpserv.interlan.com

2. When the system prompts you for a user name, type anonymous and 
press Enter.  

3. When the system prompts you for a password, press Enter. 

After you have logged on to the server, use the dir command to list 
the contents of the root directory.   The INDEX file contains a list 
of all the drivers and MIB files available on the server.  To download 
the INDEX file to your local system, set the transfer mode to ASCII. 
To download drivers, set the transfer mode to binary and use the FTP 
get command.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
