Quick Installation Guide The complete installation guide for INF files is to be found in your Windows handbook. This is ONLY a quick guide to using prepared INF file! If your modem is already installed in your Windows 95 or Windows NT, please remove it from Control Panel/Modems. Afterwards, search for all files *.inf in the directory c:\windows\inf containing the string "MicroLink 56k" with the Windows Explorer, and delete all files found (or move them to another location). Copy the file MDMELSA.INF into the directory WINDOWS\INF\. Note: The INF-directory is by default not visible under Windows. To make this visible, use Windows' Explorer and the menus View/Options. After copying this file, all products will be available to you on adding ELSA modems in the Control Panel/Modems dialog. -----------------------------------------------------------------------Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
