1.      Overview

        This file contains information about MDMELSA.INF for 
	Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0.

3.      Quick Installation Guide

        The complete installation guide for INF files is to be found
        in your Windows handbook. This is ONLY a quick guide to
        using prepared INF file!

        Copy the file MDMELSA.INF into the directory WINDOWS\INF\.

        Note: The INF-directory is by default not visible under
        Windows. To make this visible, use Windows' Explorer and 
        the menus View/Options. After copying this file, further products 
        will be available to you in the "My Computer" menu Control Panel/Modem.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
